We'll be celebrating at Masseria del Carboj, a country
estate among the olive groves near Menfi, in south-west Sicily — roughly 1.5 hours from
Palermo (PMO) airport. We've reserved accommodation for you; final details to follow after RSVP.
A few quick answers below — with more to follow as the weekend draws closer.
How to get there
Fly into Palermo (PMO). From the airport, Autoservizi Salemi runs a direct bus to Castelvetrano — the nearest town to the venue — leaving right from the airport bus stop. It runs several times a day (roughly every few hours), takes around 1–1.5 hours, and costs about €6–9; check the Autoservizi Salemi website for current times and tickets. From Castelvetrano it's a short onward hop to Masseria del Carboj, and we'll arrange shuttle transfers between the venue and each event — pickup details to follow closer to the date.
Is parking available?
Yes. There's complimentary on-site parking at the venue for anyone planning to drive or hire a car.
What's the dress code?
Elegant Mediterranean — summer formal for the ceremony and dinner (light suits, floral dresses), and relaxed for the pool party, so do pack swimwear.
What will the weather be like?
Late May in Sicily is warm and sunny — usually around 22–26°C by day, cooling pleasantly in the evening. Bring sun protection for the daytime and a light layer for after sunset.
What about food?
All meals across the weekend are taken care of — and in true Italian–Sicilian wedding fashion, there will be plenty of it, so come hungry. If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, please note them in your RSVP so we can make sure you're well looked after.
Do you have a registry?
